“The Path, Exploring its Flora” is a publication done for my bachelor’s thesis. The antioquian colonization was an important historical event in Colombia that helped the economical development of the antioquian region. This publication explores one of the many trails that bear witness to this event. In order to demonstrate that these paths should be considered natural and cultural heritage, I decided to make a book that would invite and guide the reader to make his own personal exploration of the trail, just as I did. Through a series of illustrations, photographs, and text I showed the importance and existence of these paths, the beauty of the landscapes and flora found along them, and the need for their protection.
